<p>Say, I have this image on a hoodie I got from ebay. I was wondering if it was Huke art, and if there was a corresponding scene in the VNs behind it, since I don't remember such a scene from the anime. I could only get this image on a hoodie instead of a tee, and unfortunately, since I live in Orlando, there's very few days cold enough to wear it! Wore it to Universal a couple of weeks ago, & the host at Bubba Gump's recognized it. He didn't watch Steins;Gate, but had had many anime friends recommend it to him. We talked for a few minutes, but he was on duty & I didn't want to keep him occupied too long. </p>
<p>No, that is a piece of fanart by the artist しえっ(Shieh) over on pixiv (pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=20091180), which is a Japanese website (with English as an option for the interface) similar to Deviantart. There is a lot of really nice Steins;Gate Fan art and short manga on there, though you do have to sign up to browse.</p><p>huke publishes some of his stuff on pixiv too: pixiv.net/member.php?id=9794</p><p>

I've already discovered Pixiv, and have bookmarked one female artist's page of Steins;Gate fan art (mostly Kurisu/Okarin romantic mush stuff)--even wrote her a couple of brief messages, which thankfully she was able to read. I have no idea what her name is, because it was in Japanese characters, but the site did list her as "female". Below is one of her pieces:</p>
<p>Just got back from looking at Shieh's Steins;Gate art. Found some new pieces to add to my collection--and some I already had. Bookmarked that page in case anything new is added in the future.</p>
<p>Idk what to tell you man, that doesn’t look like huke’s art at all. Among other things, I notice that as opposed to hukes art, this has no really noticeable gritty overlay that hike always finishes his pieces with, as well as I feel like the shading is a bit softer compared to huke’s. As well as while the characters themselves are not out of proportion or look bad in any particular way, the way they are drawn doesn’t look like how huke draws Okabe and kurisu.</p>
