What is the difference between the visual novels Steins;Gate: Variant Space Octet and Steins;Gate 8-bit Adventure? They're both in 8-bit style and as I understand, they're almost always being mistaken for each other. I looked them up and found a torrent file for 8-bit Adv., which turned out to be Variant Space Octet. Aother thing: where can I get my hands on these games?

Steins;Gate: Variant Space Octet is a sequel, 8-bit styled visual novel to the original, while 8-bit ADV Steins;Gate is basically the retelling of the story in a similar fashion.

These deceiving me must have been the work of the Organization! How foolish I was to not see the difference! Such powerful illusioners!
