The term Alpha World Line refers to any world line with a divergence value between 0.000000α and presumably up to 0.999999α as shown by the Divergence Meter. All the Alpha World Lines are collectively referred to as the Alpha Attractor Field.
The final convergence of all Alpha World Lines is the completion of the SERN time machine and the enslavement of humanity in a Dystopia headed by the Committee of 300.
Key Distinctions[]

The crashed FG204 is a signature of this attractor field.
- On most world lines, Suzuha Amane travels to 1975 after briefly getting to know the Lab Members in 2010.
- Suzuha Amane, now known as Suzu Hashida, has a strong influence on Yuugo Tennouji, Yukitaka Akiha, and Shouichi Makise.
- Suzu Hashida dies in 2000.
- Itaru Hashida receives a strange broken apart text message from Rintaro Okabe, declaring the death of Kurisu Makise.
- A landing miscalculation means FG204 crashes into the side of the Akihabara Radio Kaikan on July 28, 2010, causing a media uproar.
- John Titor appears on internet forums for the first time in 2010, claiming to be a time traveler from Japan's future.
- Due to FG204's crash, Dr. Nakabachi's lecture on time travel is cancelled, leading to Kurisu Makise instead giving a lecture on the same topic. Although she takes a dim view of the subject in her arguments, a fierce debate ensues with Rintaro Okabe which intrigues her into following him to his lab.
- Kurisu joins the Future Gadget Lab, and aids in the design of the PhoneWave (name subject to change), and later, the Time Leap Machine. Experiments with the PhoneWave (name subject to change) lead to SERN taking an interest in the Akihabara-based group.
- In mid to late August 2010, Mayuri Shiina dies. The exact circumstances of her death vary.
- SERN takes control of all research related to the time machine and captures Kurisu, Okabe, and Itaru.
- Kurisu Makise begins working with SERN.
- Rintaro Okabe and Itaru Hashida form an anti-SERN resistance group named Valkyrie.
- On most world lines, Itaru Hashida never sees his daughter to ensure her safety.
- Rintaro Okabe dies in 2025, after being tortured by SERN agents.
- Itaru Hashida dies in 2034, leaving behind his incomplete time machine.
- SERN seizes control of time by 2034 and uses it to conquer the world.
- Yuki Amane dies between 2034-2036, assassinated by Kayano, a member of the Rounders.
- With no other options, Suzuha Amane uses FG204 to travel back in time.
