Chikane Akiha (秋葉 ちかね, Akiha Chikane) makes her first voice appearance in Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram. She is the wife of Yukitaka Akiha and the mother of Rumiho Akiha who has been living overseas on business ever since Yukitaka's death with the exception of the Omega Attractor Field where all of the family is happily together.

- Chikane's surname Akiha means "autumn" (秋) (aki) and "leaf, plane, lobe, needle, blade, spear, counter for flat things, fragment, piece" (葉) (ha).
